Landing Permission Affadavits

 

One benefit of Michigan Helicopter Association membership is blanket coverage for off-airport landings for specified sites. The FAR regulations regarding off-airport are now more stringent and more vigorously enforced than in the past. One way to keep from getting afoul of these regulations is of course, to join the MHA, and take advantage of the landing permission affadavits. These require that you call ahead as they are private use heliports, not public use heliports.
