Description:
Through the FAA’s Aviation Safety Information Analysis and Sharing (ASIAS) program, both industry and government participants can share data and identify systemic safety risks and emerging system vulnerabilities. This session will explore the opportunities and challenges associated with expanding ASIAS to the helicopter community. Attendees will receive information on the latest safety analysis and helicopter flight-data monitoring (HFDM) tools, techniques, and capabilities that are being examined as part of the research effort, as well as how these initiatives can benefit both the helicopter community at large and individual operators.
This course is offered at the HAI Rotor Safety Challenge at HELI-EXPO 2016. These sessions are FREE to all HELI-EXPO 2016 registered attendees and exhibitors.
Attend at least six Rotor Safety Challenge sessions at HELI-EXPO 2016 and receive a certificate of recognition for completing the 2016 HAI Rotor Safety Challenge.
